Payment, Cancellation & Collection Terms
Binding terms that apply to every quote, order, invoice, and payment with Honeycutt Translations.
01Applicability, Website Use, and Acceptance of Terms
These Payment, Cancellation, and Collection Terms ("Terms") constitute a binding agreement between Honeycutt To The Point LLC, doing business as Honeycutt Translations ("Honeycutt Translations," "we," "us," or "our"), and each person or entity that accesses or uses the Honeycutt Translations website, requests or purchases services, submits documents, accepts a quote, pays an invoice, or otherwise conducts business with Honeycutt Translations ("User," "Client," or "you").
These Terms apply to:
- access to and use of honeycutttranslations.com and any related webpage, customer portal, online form, document-upload page, payment page, invoice link, or other online service operated by Honeycutt Translations;
- requests for quotes, estimates, consultations, translations, interpretations, proofreading, editing, formatting, certification, document review, or other services;
- documents, files, images, information, or instructions submitted through the website, by email, through a payment platform, or through another communication method;
- quotes, orders, invoices, statements of work, project authorizations, and service agreements issued by Honeycutt Translations;
- payments made to Honeycutt Translations; and
- all services performed or deliverables provided by Honeycutt Translations.
02Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using the website, submitting a contact form, requesting a quote, uploading or sending documents, approving a quote, placing an order, making a payment, authorizing Honeycutt Translations to begin work, receiving or using services, downloading a deliverable, checking an acceptance box, clicking a button stating that you agree, or otherwise indicating acceptance, you acknowledge and agree that:
- you have been provided access to these Terms;
- you have read and understood these Terms;
- you agree to be legally bound by these Terms;
- you consent to conducting the transaction electronically; and
- you are responsible for all charges, duties, and obligations arising from your order or use of the services.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not submit documents, place an order, authorize work, make a payment, or use Honeycutt Translations' services.
Merely viewing publicly available website content does not, by itself, require the User to purchase services or make a payment. However, all use of the website remains subject to applicable website-use provisions contained in these Terms and any separately posted Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, or Website Terms of Use.
Payment obligations arise when the Client requests, authorizes, orders, receives, or uses a service, or when Honeycutt Translations begins work at the Client's request.
03Authority to Accept
If you use the website or order services on behalf of a business, law firm, government agency, organization, employer, customer, family member, or another person or entity, you represent and warrant that:
- you are at least 18 years old;
- you have legal authority to submit the documents and information provided;
- you have authority to accept these Terms on behalf of that person or entity; and
- the person or entity on whose behalf you act will be bound by these Terms.
You remain personally responsible for the order if you falsely claim to possess authority to act for another person or entity.
04Incorporation Into Each Order
These Terms are incorporated into every quote, estimate, invoice, order, statement of work, payment request, payment link, email authorization, project confirmation, and service agreement issued or accepted by Honeycutt Translations.
The Client does not need to sign a separate paper copy of these Terms for them to apply when the Client has accepted them electronically or has otherwise clearly authorized Honeycutt Translations to perform services with notice of these Terms.
If a separately signed agreement directly conflicts with these Terms, the separately signed agreement will control only regarding the specific conflicting provision.
05Electronic Records and Signatures
The Client agrees that electronic records and electronic methods of acceptance may be used to create and evidence the agreement between the Client and Honeycutt Translations.
Electronic acceptance includes, without limitation:
- checking an online acceptance box;
- clicking an "I Agree," "Accept," "Submit Order," "Approve Quote," "Pay Invoice," or similar button after being presented with notice of these Terms;
- applying an electronic signature;
- approving a quote or order by email;
- submitting an online order or document-upload form containing a link to these Terms;
- making payment after being presented with notice of these Terms; or
- providing written authorization for Honeycutt Translations to begin work.
Electronic acceptance will have the same legal effect as a handwritten signature to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
Honeycutt Translations may retain records showing the Client's acceptance, including the Client's name, email address, date and time of acceptance, internet protocol address, order information, invoice number, acceptance method, and the version of the Terms accepted by the Client.
The Client agrees that such electronic records may be used as evidence of the transaction and the Client's agreement to these Terms.
06Changes to These Terms
Honeycutt Translations may revise these Terms from time to time.
The version presented to and accepted by the Client when an order is placed or authorized will govern that order unless the parties later agree to a change in writing.
Changes posted after an order has been accepted will apply to future website use and future orders but will not retroactively alter the payment terms of an existing order unless agreed to by both parties.
